Meet Witold Niesluchowski
Witold ‘Vito’ Niesluchowski is a retired, accomplished cardiac surgeon. He was born in Poland and now lives in North Carolina.
Upon retiring from medicine in 2012, he traded in his scalpel for a pen (well, actually, a keyboard), writing mostly historical fiction books that he has drawn from experiences of over 30 years, day-in and day-out in the inner sanctum of the operating room.
The historical fiction stories he tells will raise the hair on the back of your neck, especially when you realize that many of these stories are inspired by real events.
