Emotional Goals to Be Fit at 80
Here are my emotional goals:
*By that age, I have to know my strengths and my weaknesses.
*I have to be able to listen when the others want just that.
*I have to be able to take, not to shift the blame.
*I need to be strong in my difficult moments, and to console others in theirs.
*To have defined convictions, and be able to clearly express them to others.
*Be proud when others ask my opinions.
*I want to know how to empathize with others, without being overbearing.
*Still have an open mind and be ready to learn something new every day.
*At that stage of my life, I have to show mature judgement and be able to separate diamonds from pyrite.
*Still have enough courage to take reasonable risks.
*Do not compare yourself with the others, but if I do, do it only because of curiosity.
*Most of all, I want to be able to go to sleep every night thinking that while I wake up in the morning, I have something important and exciting to do.
For all these, I have to be physically fit.
